Congratulations to the graduates of the LOCKUP Overcoming Size Differences for Female Enforcers for Female Enforcers. It was an honor and a pleasure to present our Overcoming Size Differences for Female Enforcers to a sold out group held at the Criminal Justice Academy of Osceola. Instruction lead by Nationally recognized Instructor Toni Weinbeck, Guy Samuelson, Rich Doty and George Randolph. The training was extremely well received, with all attending officers demonstrating exceptional enthusiasm, dedication, and professionalism throughout the physically and mentally challenging 3 day course. Their active participation greatly contributed to the success of the program.
Overall I thought the program was? 100% of attending students rated this course at the highest level of excellence.
Were there parts of the program that you saw particularly useful?
• The demonstrations were well thought out and broken down. I liked that there were videos showing some of the moves working in real life situations, gave me reassurance in what we were learning.• I enjoyed this class!!! A+ plus
• Knowing that I have the skills as a small female to manipulate and take down a large male. Confidence builder. This course should be mandatory for all new recruits.
• Actually having a female instructor teach the class and very hands on. Also having male instructors in the class to actually get a feel on how to use the techniques on different sizes.
• All of this class was useful and beneficial I specifically appreciated the running the course we did outside. It put in a realistic environment with some stress.
• Takedown techniques were effective and I am taking away new and useful skills. I thoroughly enjoyed this program and I feel like I’m walking away with skills that I can and will put to use.
• Step by step instruction. Building confidence by having instructor show movements with a meat castle I also like that Tony made it fun and comfortable.
• Maybe a 5 day course instead of three period it’s very exhausting but good training we don’t get often, thank you.
• Video showing the techniques to ensure tactics were useful and successful. Instructor took the time to go through each and every step methodically to ensure understanding.
• Learning the different options for takedowns for larger people. Knowing I have the ability to take on bigger people. No improvements. Continue to have female instructor teach the class period it gives students confidence seeing the instructor perform the moves on bigger people.
• The instructor broke down techniques into numbered steps. Each step was done multiple times till the step was perfected.
• The mental mindset part.
• Rich Doty. was very helpful and made things easy to understand. George Randolph was very helpful. Also while showing us things made it easy to understand.
• The confidence Toni was given to women taking the class showing we can do it.
• Having the large men available to complete the techniques on to show we can really do it.
• The techniques were targeted towards females and using skeletal strength.
• Learning to take down someone who is larger than you rear century takedown.
• This was an awesome program for female deputies.
• All of the parts important, I believe it let us understand the fundamentals and goals of the lessons I wish I’d learned this program a few years ago, thank you.
• Tony was amazing teaching all the elements of the training being able to fail at something and still feel comfortable to try it again and ask for help with all the females was fantastic.
• Any one of the leg kicks in various variations for sizes any one of the leg kicks in variation for sizes rear sentry was awesome.
• Maybe an extra day Rich Doty, George Randolph, Guy Samuelson and Toni Weinbeck put on a great class. I would do it again.
• Being a class for females, learning techniques for bigger individuals was great.
• Every female officer should take this course one day class the following day techniques may be added day.
• I think the program was perfect! Thank you for all the hard work.
• Having a female instructor to demonstrate and relate through this course with helpful sayings. Having rich Doty and George Randolph as bigger figures helped sharpen our skills thank you!
