Congratulations to the officers who successful attended and completed the intensive five day L.O.C.K.U.P. ® Ground Control – Edged Weapon Defense Instructor Training conducted at the South Metro Training Center in Edina MN.

Ground Control and Edged Weapon Defense  is another outstanding offering from the L.O.C.K.U.P. ® Police Combat System. Excellent instruction from a subject matter expert. Easily learned and easily recalled techniques with gross motor movements. Movements and techniques are in line and consistent with materials and training theories provided in other L.O.C.K.U.P. Combat courses. Jerry Lashway is an excellent instructor. Very knowledgeable in combative skills.

The  L.O.C.K.U.P.® Police Ground Control Edged Weapon  Instructor Course is an in-depth presentation of  police ground control tactics integrated with edged weapon  defense. The course will provide  a solid foundation of law enforcement and corrections ground engagements. This is not sport orientated grappling, these are tactics and techniques designed for law enforcement  / correctional engagements. L.O.C.K.U.P. ® orientation   provides the base of the system with the course specifically  focusing on grounded and edged weapon engagements.
