COMMENTS of INSTRUCTORS – Lt. Kevin Dillon (ret) Dan Cruz
Kept things interesting very knowledgeable, great delivery.
Attentive, helpful, high energy, took input from students. This training has been eye opening experience to show how easy I can lose a fight if my mind isn’t in the game. I thought the instructors were very knowledgeable and did a great job at walking us through the steps to complete each task. Kevin and Dan were great! Cared about us getting better and wanted us to learn. Awesome, very knowledgeable. I like the PowerPoint before the physical aspects. Awesome! Excellent instructors. Very knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching the techniques. The instructors knew how to help solve each problem they observed. Great at explaining in guiding enforcers. Passionate about teaching the material and techniques and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Awesome presentation, breaks everything down for understanding and to the why I am doing |
This three day course is designed to address violent encounters dealing with suspects of larger stature. When attempting control larger suspects, size and strength differentials necessitate combat strategies less reliant on pure upper body strength. The concepts and techniques can be utilized by any officer addressing a larger suspect. The days are hands-on and mentally challenging. Officers train and drill wearing vest, gun belt and long pants because anything else makes no sense.
