Intermediate Arrest and Control & Re-qualification
Congratulations to the attending officers who actively participated and achieved their L.O.C.K.U.P.® Intermediate Instructors Qualification. Officers from presented from 9 different agencies successfully completed the physically intensive L.O.C.K.U.P.® Intermediate Arrest and Control Instructor Course.
Officers were professionally represented from Faribault, Fond Du Lac, Cottage Grove, Owatonna, Tennessee Federal Bank Reserve Police Departments as well as Sibley County, Freeborn County, and Crow Wing Sheriff’s Departments.
The Instructors will now be returning to their agency to continually instruct the L.O.C.K.U.P.® materials to their officers. Officers passed all physically intensive skill outs as well as written and oral presentations to earn their certificates.
This is what the students had to say;
The hands-on training and scenarios were perfect to retain most of each maneuvers.
The instructors knowledge and application was excellent.
Excellent PowerPoint lecture and hands-on.
Very well taught classes! Lieutenant Dillon in other instructors made for a positive learning experience.
Always clear, concise and well explained.
I am a Use of Force Instructor and that things I learned will be able to be brought back to my police department and taught to the officers.
With this training I will be able to train all of our officers fully on L.O.C.K.U.P.®.
Just enough PowerPoint to provide background knowledge and fundamentals. A lot of hands-on demonstration that helped learn easier.
All instructors were knowledgeable of the material. They all had a good friendly demeanor and good sense of humor.
