See what the students had to say:

  • One of the best courses I have taken. Wish this was five-day class. Very informative lots of material and skills that can be used.
  • If possible, make it a week-long course and utilize / defensive tactics / arrest and control with it. Don’t have to teach to be instructors of DT / Arrest but it’s helpful to workout physical scenario along with the  escalation techniques.
  • Absolutely love this class!! So much useful invaluable information. I would have loved to have more class  time on this training.
Great class. Probably needs to be a five-day course with hands-on, combative techniques review in practical applications. If that would be possible.
  • Great course, learned a lot and got out of it what I was looking for . Would like for this to be a longer course.
  • Course could be longer – up to two additional days. Love the free stuff.
  • I personally think the addition of officer self-care should be touched on when instructing this course   material. Great job guys!
  • This course was very well thought out and useful in today’s political and social climate.
  • I really enjoyed this course I felt it was highly informative I also feel I will be able to immediately implement the teaching and strategies given to us. I am looking forward to sharing it with my agency.
  • Great course, much needed. Hope it is offered again.
  • Please make this training part of our curriculum. Need supervisor use of force training implemented as well.
  • Well done, learned so much!
  • Great class. Extra time to go through course. Great instructor made it easy to follow the material.
  • I wish this was a five day course. Tons of information would be helpful for more time to digest it.
  • Both KD (Lt. Kevin Dillon) and Liam (Commander Liam Duggan) were extremely enthusiastic about this course. This course should happen multiple times a year.
  • Great course. I enjoyed the different perspectives.
  • This course would be better stated in a five-day 40 hour format. More chance to practice the principles taught.
  • I really enjoyed this course. It was interesting learning the material from the instructors.
  • Very informative class period highly recommend others to attend this class. The class would only be better if it  was more time.  A 10+ plus of good information in a short amount of time.
  • Great course with a lot of useful information that every officer can benefit from.
