Congratulations to the graduates of the Female Enforcer class held at the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy. L.O.C.K.U.P. Overcoming Size Difference Training September 29-October 1, 2025, at the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy. The training was very well received by all attendees, they displayed high levels of enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism throughout the 3-day training session. Patrol Officer- 2 years
This dynamic three-day course equips officers with the skills needed to effectively control violent or resisting subjects when faced with size and strength disparities. Through lectures, demonstrations, role play, drills, and scenario-based applications, participants will learn to apply reasonable and proportionate force to manage larger suspects. The course emphasizes strategies that minimize reliance on upper body strength, focusing instead on the proven principles of the L.O.C.K.U.P.® system. Instruction will develop a foundational understanding of immediate physical control tactics that are strategic, effective, and adaptable to varying levels of resistance and aggression.
