In this 8 hour workshop Lt. Dillon will present a different approach when addressing police use of force. He will address recent and up to date issues that specifically impact Command, Mid-level Managers,  Supervisors and Trainers concerning police use of force incidents. This overview concentrates on quantification of use of force incidents to develop, curriculum, force strategies, collection and review steps. In addition, issues ranging from daily officer citizen complaints to investigative issues involving deadly force encounters. Instruction uses lecture and case review. This is essential material for anyone who reviews, oversees, investigates or instructs police use of force. We need to quantify use of force incidents thoroughly to be able to manage and analyze.
