L.O.C.K.U.P. ® Arrest and Control Instructor Re-certification

(Session 1 – April 11 – 13) (Session 2 – April 25 – 27)

The L.O.C.K.U.P.® Police Arrest and Control Re-certification program is built into the first two sessions of the 9 Day CT Arrest and control Instructor class. Certificated L.O.C.K.U.P.®  Arrest and Control instructors are required to be recertified every three years to remain current with instructor methodologies and the updated curriculum. Instructors will learn the updated material and demonstrate their instructor abilities by participating in instruction. Maintaining updated certification is paramount when teaching officers use of force skills and methodologies. Instructors with expired certification will find it difficult to defend in litigation.

The L.O.C.K.U.P. ® curriculum is continually modifying and updating the material to be relevant and current. Emphasis will focus on reviewing the core curriculum, updated material, legal updates and  instructional methods used to  develop a solid foundation of law enforcement arrest and control techniques and use of force against resistant or aggressive  suspects.
