New – L.O.C.K.U.P. ® Instructors! – Ramsey County Corrections
Congratulations to the attending officers who actively participated and achieved their L.O.C.K.U.P.® Control and Restraint Instructor Qualification. Officers successfully completed the physically intensive 5 day L.O.C.K.U.P.® Basic Level Control and Restraint Instructor Course.
Hosted and attended by the Ramsey County Juvenile Detention and Corrections Center. Also proudly professionally represented by officers from the Brooklyn Park MN PD along with St Louis, Dakota County and Stearns County Sheriffs Office.
This program is specifically designed for Juvenile Detention and Correctional facilities. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Training Officer Jae Wiese of the Ramsey County Community Corrections for his hard work and commitment in obtaining the highest level of professional training for their organization as well as other correctional and law enforcement professionals.

An intensive 5-day training program on L.O.C.K.U.P.® Control and Restraint Instructor Course. This course provides in-depth physical control confrontation training. It develops a solid foundation of de-escalation tactics, physical manipulation techniques with instructional methods that will certify the student as a Basic L.O.C.K.U.P. ® Control and Restraint Instructor. The empty-hand skills can be utilized by individual officers or as a team response. This system is a complete control and restraint program that fully integrates de-escalation strategies as well as weapons systems of corrections and law enforcement.
