Congratulations to the Graduates of the LOCKUP Arrest and Control Instructor class hosted by the Rhode Island Municipal Training Academy on June 13 – 17, 2022. The attending officers from throughout Rhode Island, Maine, and Pennsylvania actively participated in this mentally and physically demanding five-day program. These officers are now qualified LOCKUP Arrest and Control Instructors and will be teaching their departments in their perspective states.

An intensive 5-day nationally recognized training program on L.O.C.K.U.P.® Police Arrest and Control  Instructor Course. This course provides in-depth use of force – arrest and control training.  This training program develops a solid foundation of de-escalation tactics and physical manipulation techniques with instructional methods that will certify the student as a  L.O.C.K.U.P. ® Arrest and Control Instructor. The empty-hand skills can be relied upon by individual officers or deployed as teams.  This system is a complete arrest and control program that fully integrates all weapons systems of law enforcement.
