Marin County Sheriff’s Office – California
Presents
Police Use of Force for Command, Supervisors and Trainers
A Systematic Approach
Oct 8th, 2015 / 0800 – 1700 Hours

The training will examine the most recent and up to date issues that specifically impact executive, mid-level managers and supervisors concerning police use of force incidents. This overview concentrates on multiple issues ranging from daily officer citizen complaints to investigative issues involving deadly force encounters. Instruction uses lecture and case review. You can’t manage it if your don’t analyze and measure it.

Lt. Dillon has recently been brought into the hot spots of the country such as St Louis MO as well as Albuquerque New Mexico to address use of force issues within the agency. This is not a legal review class, it’s a program on how the entire agency can learn to properly determine training needs of the agency, how to measure use of force incidents and how to analyze the information.
