At first I had the typical “what can these guys teach me attitude.” The significance and impact of your training quickly changed my mind. The instruction stressed an overall offensive strategy that helps prevent an escalation of force. The techniques were easy to learn and retain. Since they are based on known physiological responses, we can turn this knowledge into an advantage. It was exactly what we needed to improve our arrest and control capabilities. We have already begun to implement LOCKUP in our block training!
