If your agency can’t produce any quantifiable evidence of successful deployments of trained maneuvers your opening yourself up to liability. We can provide evidence and procedures on tracking and trending efficiency of maneuvers learned and deployed on the street. In court today it’s not about what the officer was trained to do, it’s what the officers have learned to do. Training is NOT to be measure by the speed of acquisition of by the level of performance reached. Training is ONLY to be measure in post training task in the real world environment. Arrest and Control training is to be measure through Use of Force reporting and tracking.
One midsize agency recently admitted they have been training their officers in the same system for the past 5 years and haven’t received ONE report of it ever being used on the street by the officers trained.
